Everyone has a story.....as a kid my story began in art. At an early age I was introduced to pencil and paper by my father. After dad would leave for work I would sneak his drawings and try mimicking what I would see him do. Being five, things definitely weren't very pretty but I kept at it. That desire to do what dad did became obsessive and without me realizing, began the start of my passion. That journey progressed once I met my childhood friend Demetrius. Demetrius was beyond gifted! Being so young his mind worked in ways creatively I never thought were imaginable. My fascination with his creativity and artistic abilities fueled that passion even more and motivated me to always get better. Fast forward years later during my high school tenure I was introduced to photography and film. Thinking I could just use a 3 hour block to carve into the day I realized just like pencil and paper another form of expression was becoming a passion. Unexpected tragedy hits and I lost my friend Demetrius. As I got older, these passions suddenly went dormant. A simple drawing here....pic there....short film blah blah blah wasn't enough to keep me from having a dry spell. Along comes my wife who I owe so much to, began noticing something in me. I couldn't just have a regular conversation during tv or movies discussing plots. Instead I would bore her with my talk about lighting, different angles during shots, or just my obsession with colors. She would see the occasional sketch, pic, or video and remind me of the talent I have and needed to share. Lengthy conversations about my upbringing I remember explaining to her "hey where I'm from being an artist was not the thing" You we're looking for a way out either through sports or a rap career. If those two options failed, factory job it was. I think about the youth and realize that there are so many young me's that have creative mindsets, yet they've been conditioned to think in a similar manner with limited options. I decided to go a different route, which leads me to where I am today.  My purpose is to inspire others and to help them bring their ideas and visions to life with an artistic flare.
